Extract Highlights from PDF into a Text File

Download DyAnnotationExtractor to your computer. Unzip it.
Put the PDF (original one) in the same folder where you extracted the above zipped file.
Open command prompt in the existing folder location. The easier way to do this is to type 'cmd' in the address bar and press Enter.
There's a file called 'DyAnnotationExtractor.bat'. Drag that bat file into the CMD window.
Press ENTER.
Enter the following command with necessary changes to the input (e.g. original_pdf.pdf) and output file name (e.g. outputfilename.txt) as required.
DyAnnotationExtractor.bat -input “original_pdf.pdf” -output “outputfilename.txt”
You will see the extracted highlights in the text file in the same folder. (Here outputfilename.txt)
