We often impress by someone who speaks clearly, who raises his/her point assuredly, who dare to express thoughts publicly and who is always ready to take up the challenge. Such types of people have qualities that everyone admires.
This courage and confidence come when we are confident on our word and moreover when we have confident on ourselves.
Self-confidence simply means having confidence on you. Here by ‘on you’ I mean, having confidence on your ability, on your knowledge, strength and more over on your potential. Self-confidence can be define as-

Why should you require self-confidence?
- For doing what you believe to be right.
- For willing to take risk.

Now the question arises that self-confidence is a natural gift or it can be build? So the answer is ‘yes! You can build it.’
Building self-confidence
Building self-confidence is an art of balancing between under-confidence and over-confidence. If you are under-confident you will avoid taking risks and stretching yourself, and if you are over-confidence you may take on too much risk and stretch yourself beyond your capabilities.
With the right amount of risk you will take informed risk and stretch yourself beyond your ability and try hard.
So here are some tips for you that will surely build your confidence, make you feel to deserve positive future and change your life!
Enjoy the success you already had
Think about the thing that you have already achieved so far. Spend some time in thinking about your success. Remember no one can motivate you better than you. Figure out the best and important thing that you have done so far, make a list of it and watch them often to enjoy your success.
Emphasize strengths
Always applaud yourself for your efforts rather than accomplishment of task. Give yourself credit for everything you try. Know about your weakness and strength.
Start taking risks
Take new tasks as opportunity to learn new things rather than occasion to win or lose. This increases your self- acceptance and may opens new possibilities for you. Not doing so turn your opportunity into failure and inhibits growth.
Set small goals
Make a habit of setting small goals. Try to achieve them on time and yes don’t forget to celebrate the achievement.
Self evaluate
Learn to evaluate yourself rather than relying on the opinions of other. Foremost thing is what you think about yourself than you make others to think accordingly. Focusing internally on how you feel about your behavior, work etc. will give you stronger self esteem.
Accept yourself
Remind yourself that you can’t do everything perfectly; it’s only possible to try to do things and to do them well. This allows you to accept yourself while still striving to improve.
Never hesitate
Yes! Never hesitate in doing the right things. Don’t worry what the other people will say about you. Try to convey your message in public this will surely increase your self-confidence and than other will came to know that what you are.
Attitude
Always have positive attitude towards people and situation you come across. Being positive it makes you feel confident. Keep yourself grounded. Remember that self-confident people inspire confidence on others also.
Self-confident people trust their own abilities and will be able to do what they wish, plan and expect. It doesn’t mean that expectations of self confident people are always met but they continue to be positive and accept themselves.
