Photoshop tutorial to create a 'Photo collage'
"Type- basic""I wrote a small photoshop tutorial on how to create a 'photo collage' can be used for creating collages of your college pics, for facebook cover or twitter header or even printing . Sorry if I be unable to guide, I'm bad at teaching stuffs.
If you don't understand any part, feel free to ask, please
Thanks.
Sincerely,
ME :)"
examples:
- open photos that u want to create collage with, by FILE>OPEN or by simply dragging the image onto photoshop
(in ps6 that i am currently using, dragging the image onto photoshop puts the image in a same file while in earlier versions, it creates a new tab for each file you drag)
- you can work on any image for the new image collage or create a new file with 300(or less) resolution, and size of your choice
(new file would be better, because you can get resolution as your wish)
-now go to any image tab on photoshop that you have dragged or imported
-using
the arrow tool drag the image from that tab to the new photoshop file.If drag is not possible , be sure to check in the layer palette, that it is not
locked(it will contain a LOCK sign if it is locked)..if it is locked, double click on the LOCK icon and click enter
-drag all other images onto the new file
- each image will have a different layer ( see the layers palette in the above figure - if you don't see a layer paletter, go to WINDOW>LAYERS )
-CTRL+T to transform , that is, resize and rotate as you want, use the pointer, arrow tool to move around-- don't forge to click the 'chain icon' ( maintain aspect ratio) so that your image don't go out of ratio and look distorted.
To rotate the image, hover at the corners!
When done, press ENTER or click the TICK button at the top right.
-it is almost ready
