#13 Jobs only had one request for his biography.
Steve Jobs was
totally fine with the idea of a biography, he only had one request: an awesome
cover. We understand. Having sexy products deserves having a sexy cover!
#12 Steve Jobs wanted to be a
poet.
Steve Jobs once
admitted to former Apple CEO, John Scully that had he not started Apple, he
wanted to move to Paris to be a poet. His poems probably would have been good,
but we're glad he went down the Apple path!
#11 He left Christianity at
age 13.
After asking his
Sunday school teacher if God knew what would happen to the starving children on
the cover of LIFE magazine, he never went back to church or practiced
Christianity again.

Steve Jobs smoked
pot when he was 15 years old and tried LSD before he had graduated high school.
According to him, LSD was a "profound experience, one of the most
important things in my life."

apps.
Initially, Steve
Jobs was against the idea of apps. It took a bunch of phone calls from a board
member to finally change his mind. Good thing he did! Apps are one of Steve
Jobs's best inventions yet!

Steve Jobs had over
15 Bob Dylan albums in his iTunes! In addition to Bob, he had a bunch of
Yo-Yo-Ma albums. He only had one book downloaded on his iPad2 and that was 'An
Autobiography of a Yogi'.
#7 Anyone can be replaced but
Ive.
Steve Jobs said that
he found anyone to be replaceable except for the Apple product designer,
Jonathan Ive. He mentioned that Ive was his "spiritual partner".
#6 Steve Jobs never sugar
coated anything.
When
asked for some advice, Steve Jobs told Larry Page of Google like it was. He
said Google was turning into Microsoft in that they had too many mediocre
products. He told Page to keep 5 products and get rid of the rest.
#5 Jobs was bummed about the
iPad response.
After
the iPad was launched, consumers did not take it the way that Jobs had expected
them to. He said he received hundreds of emails a day in complaint. He also
added that he felt depressed due to the negative response. No worries, the iPad
grew on us all!
#4 Jobs met his biological
father without knowing it!
Steve Jobs was adopted and never had a
relationship with his father. However, he did frequent his father's restaurant
and met him without knowing it. Later on, Jobs' biological sister met their
father and he told her, "I wish you could have seen me when I was running
a bigger restaurant… Everybody used to come there… Even Steve Jobs used to eat
there. Yeah, he was a great tipper."
#3 Jobs gave Clinton some
needed advice.
During the Monica
Lewinsky/Bill Clinton scandal, Bill Clinton received advice from Steve Jobs.
Jobs advised him, "I don't know if you did it, but if so, you've got to
tell the country."
#2 Steve regretted not having
surgery.
In 2004, Steve Jobs
was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. He opted not to have surgery. He didn't
like the idea of being opened up. Later, he explained his regret to Walter
Isaacson.
#1 Jobs told CEO Scully he thought he would die early.
"We all have a
short period of time on this earth. We probably only have the opportunity to do
a few things really great and do them well. None of us has any idea how long
we're going to be here nor do I, but my feeling is I've got to accomplish a lot
of these things while I'm young."
