Silence Before Destruction?

SILENCE BEFORE DESTRUCTION?
March 19, 2011 [ Amwrit Puri ]
Today is the so called “super moon day”, bringing fear of heavy destruction , true or not is solely dependent on oneself. For past few days, this “thing” has been much hyped by media, people and mostly ‘facebook’ users.
Not like usual, I get up at 8 am, and open the door to find it was almost White out there, like it had been splashed with white color on the day of Holi. [* Holi is a color celebration festival in some countries like Nepal and India.] I have been hearing about this heavy destruction thing and also am well acknowledged about the “Japan thing” through which some sort of radiations is believed to be radiated. True or not, those radiations had been travelling like wind, reached Russia and were soon supposed to hit Nepal. This makes me not go out to have my breakfast, though the place is just 4 blocks away. Fear is always there in us, even if someone claims oneself to be the most daring in the world. But I am not afraid to die. Actually I have been hoping the 2010 thing to be true. (:p) What I am afraid of is the pain of the Cancer that the radiations might cause.
With all fear and thought of what is going to happen today, I move out. I see the surrounding was like the winter has just started, no any sign of sun rays, just the humid air. (In contrary, winter had just gone.)I stop, with fear. Then I see someone inside the Breakfast Jhupro. That makes me quite relaxing that I am not going to die alond. :D The ‘Jhupro’ which used to be full of lousy and hungry dogs looking at what we eat, were not there. It was quite good eating without being watched by those. I hear seniors talking about Holi. They were planning to make Ghota ( a special type of liquor). I, being a non-alcoholic one, didn’t have much interest in that. (;P)
Thereby, I hear one senior saying, “आज बाहिर हेर्न कस्तो सुनसान छ | केहि त होला जस्तो ... like Silence before Destruction.”
Could it really be? Is something really going to happen today? Is there any chance that the 2012 thing might be true slowly and slowly? Is today’s Holi going to be the Holi of Colors or with Blood?
… long silence …
… waiting …

I came across this song when Kanden Limbu sang this in Nepal Idol.  He was one of the contestants. I thought it was his original. Surprisingly, it is not. His was based on Pratik Gurung's cover. This is actually a full fledge song with a music video. Here's the original one. However, I like the cover version. Here are the chords for a portion of the song. The chords are based on this tutorial . In the tutorial, plucking is used. You can strum as well if that's what you prefer.  CAPO: 2nd fret STRUMMING: D-DU Plucking used: 5-2-3 (C and Am), 4-2-3 (FT and GT), 6-2-3 (G) Chords: C, Am, G Major, F Major Triad (FT), G Major Triad (GT) NOTE: It's easier if you play G Major in C's original position; just move 2 and 3 fingers one step up.   C                             Am (Sunsan raat ma yo mero aatma FT               GT    C Chasakka bi...
